More about me...

In regards to my career in Web, I am taking classes from DCTS to learn more about what Web Development and Design actually is and how to strive in what I do with what I learned in this class. I got here by hard work, and I intend to keep at it. It’s the only way to go.

Currently, we Juniors are doing the college in the high school dual enrollment offered to us by Harrisburg University. We have Mr. Dawson to thank for that. The same things that we’re learning from him, is being retaught on these online courses. In exchange for a good grade on there, we have a chance to achieve extra college credits for our futures.

I also like to do mini side projects to practice more of what I know, though I can't wait till we start to learn JavaScript! It seems so confusing for me and I tend to avoid it, so if I can learn more about that then it'll open up my eyes to new ways of doing things. I'll then be free to teach myself any other languages that I want to learn.

There are so many aspects to the development and design careers that I'm passionate about in this Shop. I was able to find great joy in coding and debugging, just as I have a great joy for the arts, crafting and making visuals for my projects.

When I first came to this school, we as freshmen had a chance to go around to the different academic routes and see what was available to us and choose our three top favorites that we'd be interested in pursuing. My top three was: Graphic Design, Web Development and Design, and Masonry. You can guess what I got into.

At first, I wasn’t so sure if I would enjoy this Shop as much as my first choice since I was struggling a lot, but now I greatly enjoy doing it and I am very good at it. At least I think so haha. I still incorporate all sides of me into my work.
