"We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society." -Hillary R. Clinton

"I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are." -Mewtwo

"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." -Dr. Suess

The quotes above may not be the most inspiring, but they do mean something. To you, they could possible mean nothing; just some random words spoken by someone you may or may not like. However, to me those words are more than just words. They are something I remember in my times of need. Those words inspire me to do better than I already am. They help keep me in check and prevent me from become greedy. You could even say they inspire me. Although I may not be certain how inspiring they are to me, I do know one thing. The quotes make me evaluate myself.

All About Me

Hopes, Fears, and Dreams

I have many hopes and dreams. Most of them are unrealistic, but that will not prevent me from trying to accomplish them. Moving back to California and visiting Europe and Mexico have also always been dreams of mine. While in California, Europe, and Mexico, I will continue to learn the Law and try to reconnect with my ancestral roots. The dream I aspire the most to live out is to be able to take care of my parents when I am older. I want to do so as a way of thanking them for taking care of me.

I have more dreams than I do fears. Some people are scared of death, I am not. I understand that it is natural and will eventually occur to everything. Heights are the absolute worst for me. When I go to amusement parks I cannot stand the idea of getting onto anything higher than a bus. It sounds ridiculous, but that includes Ferris wheels. Two years ago, I was scared of dogs. When I think about my previous phobia, I cringe. Now that I live with a dog, I am no longer scared of them.

Future Plans

There is still some uncertainty when it comes to my future, but I have planned a portion of it. I will go to a college with a recognizable law major and get a degree in law. With that degree, I will work at a law firm until I have enough money to create my own law firm. My law firm will be built in a major city with a large minority population. It, my law firm, will specialize in defending minorities and other groups of people that are more likely to be convinced of a crime. Hopefully, my interest of politics will still be present and continue to influence me. I do not know till what extent, but I will contribute to Democratic canidates running for office and will try to get into campaign offices and contribute to campaigns there.
