This is my Future Plans web page! On this page, I will talk about what I want to do for the rest of high school, college, and so forth. I am going to go in depth on why I want to do the things I have planned and what I think will be challenging, as well as what I have to do to get to these goals that I have planned out for myself.
The Rest of High School
First initial thought
Ever since I was younger I had this fantasy of high school where it would be easy and I would fly through it like it was nothing. Once I did get into high school I realized that this was going to be a lot different from what I thought it would be. I automatically wished to have high school over right away! Now that this is my third year I am just going to continue taking high school on head first, especially since I have one more year left.
My last year here
For my last year of high school I want to better myself academicly as well as personally. By the end of high school I want to be able to speak 2 new languages; the laguanges would be Chinese and Korean. I also want to graduate next year with honor roll. I have planned for me to focus on my school work and studies as well as to try new positive things.
That small break
After I graduate high school I want to take that time to go and enjoy myself and take a small break from any type of school so I have given my brain a breather from 12 years of learning. I plan on going to Korea for a period of a few weeks and just sightseeing as well as hopefully using the Korean that I learned. After that small period of time, I will go directly to college and continue my studies.
The college I dreamed of going to ever since middle school is School of the Art Institute of Chicago. School of the Art Institute of Chicago is, of course, an arts college. I really want to go to this college because of the opportunities that this college can give are extraordinary! From international student programs all the way to different artistic classes that are there! I plan on majoring in writing.SAIC.edu
There are some obstacles in my way of me getting in School of the Art Institute of Chicago. One of these obstacles is my parents; who do not want me to go to college all the way in Chicago. Also, I feel as if I am lacking in my writing skills even though many people tell me otherwise. Another obstacle that might prevent me from going to School of the Art Institute of Chicago is the college ranking; School of the Art Institute of Chicago is ranked as the 3rd best art colleges in America. The final obstacle for me to get into School of the Art Institute of Chicago is the price; I do not come from a very rich family that will have completely no problem throwing their money into a college they do not accept.
In order for me to get past all those obstacles, I will begin to save up my money from my part-time job, so I can pay for my tuition. Another solution for me to be able to get into School of the Art Institue of Chicago is for me to strengthen my writing ability so that I can get accepted.
After I finish all of my studies I want to become an English teacher and teach overseas at different places all over the world. I would love to go over to South Korea first for 3 years, then I would go to Japan for 3 years, after Japan I would go to Thailand for 3 years, followed by 3 years in China, then I would go to the United Kingdom for 3 years. Basically, I want to travel as much as I can then after my last trip which I hope to end in France, I want to move to the place I found most suitable to me and then start a very successful, open-minded family.
